Ron Moultrie is a highly respected, former Senior National Security Official who spent well over three decades serving in the United States Government.

As the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Director of Operations, Ron was the leader of what is arguably the world’s most capable, technically adept, and globally dispersed Cyber organization. Ron was entrusted with providing vital insights to the President of the United States, Senior Policymakers, and Key Allies around the world and was accountable for over the half of NSA’s workforce and multibillion-dollar annual budgets.

Ron provides elite counsel to the C-suite and Board levels on addressing national security matters, including oversight and enforcement processes. He also advises executive leadership through the digital transformation of their enterprise. Ron leads our seasoned team of trusted advisors – world-renowned risk management leaders, cyber security strategists, and crisis communications executives – who provide clients with exceptional access and actionable insights on security issues, enterprise risk management and organizational governance structures.

While in government, Ron served in several of the U.S.’ most challenging national security assignments including as a member of CIA’s Senior Intelligence Service (SIS), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the United States military as a Russian Linguist, and as NSA’s Director of Operations. Ron was the first African American (and minority) in NSA’s history to lead its global operations and is also one of the Agency’s most decorated officers. Ron has represented the U.S. Government and private sector interests in the CIFIUS review process.

In 2018, Ron helped author the Navy’s Cybersecurity Readiness Review – both the classified and unclassified versions commissioned by the Secretary of the Navy. In 2019, the Navy tapped Ron to lead a second comprehensive review which produced a roadmap for the Department of the Navy to establish a fully empowered comprehensive CIO organization that focuses on Digitalization, Cybersecurity and Technology Innovation.

For his service, Ron was awarded the Department of the Navy’s highest civilian honor, the Distinguished Service Medal. Twice.
