RESOLUTE’S CORY SIMPSON APPOINTED TO CENTER FOR A NEW AMERICAN SECURITY

Resolute EVP Cory Simpson, J.D., L.L.M., has been appointed an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), a Washington, D.C.-based think tank that specializes in the United States national security issues.

Resolute EVP Cory Simpson, J.D., L.L.M., was recently recruited to serve as a Senior Advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission – CSC 2.0 Project, a 501(c )3 organization that continues the legacy of the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission where Cory served as Senior Director, one of the most consequential, congressionally charted organizations in modern times. Founded in 2019, the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission was an organization created to “develop a consensus on a strategic approach to defending the United States in cyberspace against cyber attacks of significant consequences.”

The invasion in Ukraine has heightened the risk of cyberattacks both from nation-states and non-state actors prompted by the disruptions caused by the conflict. ThoughtLab asked sponsors and advisors of our Cybersecurity Solutions for a Riskier World program to share their views on the fast-moving cybersecurity landscape. Resolute EVP Cory Simpson and Resolute EVP Jamie Singer share their insights.
