Christopher Murray is a distinguished and decorated former senior executive for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) with extensive experience enabling worldwide intelligence operations.
Christopher is an accomplished global leader with significant experience in developing strategy, managing risk and delivering integrated and comprehensive program solutions. As former Deputy Director of CIA for Support (DDS), he reported directly to the Director of CIA and was a trusted member of the senior leadership team.
He was responsible for formulating strategy and provisioning a multi-billion dollar global support operations portfolio which consisted of logistics, transportation and supply chain management; cyber, physical and personnel security; physical and psychological medical services; real estate acquisition, construction and infrastructure management; and finance and human resources capabilities. As an exceptionally skilled and acknowledged leader, he delivered effective results in complex and constantly changing environments, difficult geopolitical and security conditions, and unprecedented mission demands.
Over the course of a 34 year career, Christopher held numerous senior positions in both the domestic and foreign field, to include Associate DDS for Global Operations; Director, Office of Global Services; Deputy Chief Financial Officer / Comptroller; Chief of Base; and a number of Chief of Support Operations and Chief of Logistics Operations positions in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Far East and Latin America. In every role, he was a thought leader, pushing the status quo to modernize and evolve capabilities and organizations, with a strong advocacy and emphasis on ingesting and integrating technology into the solution set. Chris has represented U.S. Government interests in the CIFIUS review process.
